300 pinball machine "300" (the correct name includes the quotation marks) was a pinball machine produced by Gottlieb with a bowling theme. The title is a reference to a perfect game in the sport, in which a bowler scores 300 points.

Gottlieb 300 pinball was virtually the same game as Gottlieb's Top Score, the only different being the potential number of players (4 players versus 2 players). Gottlieb sold this game design in the two flavors, though they are essentially the exact same game (with slight artwork differences). The 2 player version (Top Score) had a lower purchase price than the 4 player (300), and was apparently marketed to game operators with less money to spend. This game used animated backbox red (bowling) balls for the bonus unit. Two kickout holes, 2 pop bumpers, 1 spinner, 2 slingshots, two 3" flippers. Has the same right side lane scoring as Gottlieb Sheriff pinball (1971), and similar left side score as Gottlieb Super Soccer. Only a couple of Gottlieb pinball games made during the 1970's used backbox animation. "300" featured the same backbox animation unit as Super Soccer. Gottlieb produced 7,925 "300" pinball machines, and 3,200 Top Score pinball machines.
